Professor Irwin Cotler is Chair of the Raoul Wallenberg Centre for Human Rights, an Emeritus Professor of Law at McGill University, and a former Canadian MP and Minister of Justice. He has acted as counsel to political prisoners including Saudi blogger Raif Badawi and Iranian Shi’ite cleric Ayatollah Boroujerdi.
