Evan Mawarire is a pastor, human rights activist, and the founder of Zimbabwe’s #ThisFlag movement. He has been imprisoned and tortured for his activism, which challenges governmental corruption and injustice. He is currently a Regan-Fascell Fellow at the National Endowment for Democracy.
